Hello guys, today I wanted to introduce a special place I like to go for a stroll. For art lovers, I think this will be a great location to visit. It is called the Seoul Art Center, or 예술의전당 in Korean. As stated on their website, Seoul Art Center is the most representative multi-cultural art complex. There are several different museums/halls to choose from as well. There is the Music Hall, Seoul Calligraphy Museum, Hangaram Art Museum, Opera House, etc.
As I was walking around, I found that 2023 is a very important milestone for the place. Since it is the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Seoul Arts Center’s whole venue.

If you check out their website, you can find a full calendar filled with their venues and events throughout the whole year! I am sure you will be able to find special events for their 30th anniversary. Doing some more walking around, I noticed a large water fountain show with music playing in the background.

As you can see in the photo, many people come with their families to just sit in the grass and watch the water show. There are restaurants and cafes next to the fountain, and there are terraces to eat outside as well. It almost feels like eating at a restaurant in Europe!

Some interesting things that I noticed were that the opera house at the center of the venue is shaped like a traditional Korean hat called Gat(갓). It is their special attention to detail that makes this spot so special.
If you want to visit this venue, take the Line 3 subway to Nambu Bus Terminal State at Exit 5. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the station. Come and see different venues if you want a relaxing or artistic place to visit.
