Hey guys, I am back with another blog. It’s not the next part of the Daegu trip yet I am confident you will find it interesting. As you can see from the heading of the blog, I’m gonna talk about the Dog café.
Tell me in the comments whether you are a dog person or a cat person.
I am a dog person. So, I was kind of stressed out after midterms and was thinking of something fun which I could relieve my stress. So, I decided to go to a dog café and shower some love on these dogs. I started searching for a dog café near my house. Then I finally saw a café named “Pumpkin Dog café.” I liked this café at the very first sight. It was near, looked aesthetic, and not that expensive.
Here is the address of the café:

Pumpkin Pet House Seoul Forest
서울 성동구 상원1길 22
I went there through Subway line 2. The café is near the “Tukkseom Station”, maybe just a walk of 5 minutes from exit 6.

As soon as you enter there, you can see a lot of dogs eagerly waiting for you with excitement. The best thing is that there is no time bounding to stay. You need to buy one drink and then you can stay there as long as you wish. I ordered a “chocolate latte” which was 9000 won. There were cheaper drinks as well and the highest drink price was 10,000 won. There were a lot of cute small dogs of different breeds like chow, Pomeranian, shih tzu, poodle, etc. They were all groomed well and you can touch and play with them.

The dogs were really friendly and cute. I think it’s a nice way to destress yourself. Even if you are afraid of dogs (I am afraid of dogs too 🐶) but these dogs were so small and well-trained that I felt no danger and could feel the warmth and the love from them. I rejuvenated myself and had a great time with them. Finally, it was time to go home and as soon as we were about to get up and go, they started barking as if they didn’t want us to leave and until we left the main gate they were continuously looking and jumping towards us.
I forgot to mention, the staff was nice and sweet too. I highly recommend going there once.
That’s it for this week. See you all next week.
