NC Dinos won the first integrated championship in 9 years since its foundation. NC catcher Yang Eui-ji won the Korean Series MVP.

NC won 4-2 in the 6th game of the 2020 KBO Korean Series (7 games, 4 wins) against Doosan Bears held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 24th. NC, who won the first game of the Korean Series, was in crisis by giving away the second and third games but won the long-awaited Korean Series by winning all the 4th, 5th and 6th games. After winning the first regular league in history, they won the Korean Series and achieved an integrated victory.

Yang Eui-ji, who led the NC pitching team well and showed a good hitting feeling, was selected as the MVP of the Korean Series. NC starter Drew Luchinsky became a winning pitcher with 6 hits in 5 innings, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, and a good pitch. He made 3 appearances in the Korean Series this year and recorded 2 wins and 1 save, playing a decisive role in helping NC win the Korean Series. The 31- year-old American was chosen as the Daily MVP in Game 6.

Due to the spread of the new Covid-19 infection, the game was played at Gocheok Dome, a neutral stadium, not Changwon NC Park, which is the home stadium, and even though the crowd was small due to social distancing, it could not prevent NC’s tenacity to win.
