Cafeteria Guide: Final Part

Besides the presented cafeterias, there are five more places on campus where you can enjoy reasonably priced meals. In this article, I will briefly introduce these cafeterias by providing some key notes on each of them.

I. Sarang Bang

Location: 3rd Floor at Student Union Building
*payable by credit card at the vending machine or in cash to the receptionist.

II. New Student Cafeteria

Location: B1 Floor at Advanced Materials and Chemical Engineering Building
*located quite far from most buildings that undergraduate students use.
*if you have plenty of time, you can just sit there and experience the atmosphere among engineering students
*payable by credit card or cash

III. HYWU Cafeteria

Location: B1 Lounge at Hanyang Women’s University
*even Koreans struggle to find their way to this cafeteria. The directions resemble a labyrinth. Therefore, better go there with a Korean student.
*the only spot on campus where you can experience an all-woman-situation.

IV. Chinese Cafeteria

Location: 6th Floor and Student Union Building
*here, you can enjoy Chinese traditional food on a daily basis; Jajang-myeon (Chinese noodles), Tangsuyug (fried meat) and fried dumplings.
*also, there are plenty of other menus that are simply good!

V. New Faculty Cafeteria

Location: 7th floor at Materials and Chemical Engineering Building
*this exclusive cafeteria is rather unknown because it is pretty hidden.
*although the prices are high, the taste is only so so.
*all in all, it is not worth to go there just for a quick meal.
