As dinnertime approaches, Ichijen makes for the perfect next stop. This cozy Japanese restaurant is famous for its crispy tendon—tempura served over rice—and its consistently comforting flavors.

The owner likes to experiment with various flavors and even the ones I tried were far from ordinary. Salt, Rice and Basil Pineapple. Odd right? But it’s a very flavorful experience as well as a delight.
5. Mangwon Hangang Park
To end the evening, take a walk to Mangwon Hangang Park. As the sun sets and the city lights begin to reflect on the water, the cool night air and gentle breeze from the river offer a refreshing contrast to the city’s pace. Bringing a mat or simply sitting by the riverside adds a peaceful, reflective moment to the day—ideal for quiet conversation or just soaking in the view.
