A café in the nature to feel winter

Hi, I am Dawon and I have been introducing you places to visit around Seoul. So today, I am going to introduce you to a café I visited a few days ago. It was the best place to feel winter vibes and enjoy my quiet time there. The café is called “San-arae” and in Korean, it means “under the mountain”. It is located at Uidong. It is right under the Bukhansan mountain and you can go there by taxi or public transport. You will need to walk about 8 minutes from Bukhansan Ui station. I went there by car and I recommend you guys to do so as well since it is quite steep to walk.

The café is very spacious and there are various types of rooms. The most unique part is the outdoor area. This is where you can go if you were to feel winter vibes. There are individual booths in the outdoor area. It is surrounded by clear glass so you can feel like you are in the middle of the mountains. There are heaters in each room so you can enjoy the winter view yet feel cozy at the same time. But you need to be aware that these rooms are only allowed for 2 hours per team.

The coffee and desserts were nice as well. I had a hot latte and an ice cream croffle, and the ice cream on top was especially good! The café is generally decorated carefully and each room is decorated in different atmospheres. The one I was at, had cozy vibes but the room next door had a very modern vibe. I visited on a Wednesday morning, so it wasn’t that crowded, but I heard it is very crowded on weekends. So, if you are thinking of visiting, I recommend you to consider weekdays!
