Trip to Nami Island – Backstory

Hellooo everyone,
I am with another recommendation for where you can possibly spend your holiday time.
Which place it could be? Drum drum drum
Yes, Nami Island (which is very obvious from the title right)
Wellll, fall is around the corner and this place is the best to experience the fall. The beauty of
this place is at its peak during this time. I went to Nami Island during summer vacation but
guys this is the right to go for this beautiful place.
The funny part is, I went to this place right before my finals. I was crazy about that but never
mind, it was an incredible experience that made me relax.
So, the backstory is, one of my friend’s mom came to see him and she loves nature so we all
wanted to take her somewhere full of trees. That’s how one of our another friend suggested
Nami Island. So, we all agreed to go to the Nami Island butttt we wanted a comfortable ride
for her so renting a car was the best option as foreigners, none of us had Korean driving
licenses. Thankfully our Korean friend was going with us and he had a driver’s license so he
rented the car and drove the whole time. So, it was a road trip to Nami Island.
We all live in the same neighborhood so we all decided to meet at the friend’s house whose
mom is coming with us. We were 5 people so we booked a big car and the Korean friend
brought the car to the meeting place. We all met at around 6:30 am in the morning, got into
the car and my friend’s mom made sandwiches for us (great right) so, we enjoyed those
sandwiches while singing along to some good music.

It took us approximately 2:30 hours. We took a quick break in between at a nice, cute café
that captured the eyes of all of us. We stopped the car, relaxed, and had some much-needed
coffee and cake.

Anyway, the things were a bit pricy (you know like the usual themed café where they charge
the price more for the experience than the actual food. But I won’t deny the fact that we
indeed enjoyed our time there…. We spent almost 1:30 hour there.
Then we again hopped in the car and enjoyed the scenery whilst on the journey.
Around 11 am we finally reached the Nami island/ 남이섬.
We all could see the mountains, river and of course the Nami Island.
So, I’ll wrap up here and I’ll meet you guys next week with the next part of this road trip to
Nami Island.
