Where to look for part-time jobs!

Hi, for today’s post, I am going to introduce an app that you can use when you are looking for part-time jobs.

In this post, there are some requirements explained that you will need to meet to work as a foreign student in Korea. After you get those prepared, you will need to search and apply for jobs. “Albamon” app is the most used app amongst Korean students. It is convenient to use and since a lot of employers use this app, there are lots of workplaces too.

The icon looks like this. When you download and get into the app, you will be able to see this screen. Then, you will have to search for the job you are planning to work at. You can just type in a keyword such as “café”, “translate”, or “academy”. Then, the app will show you the list of jobs they are offering. You can even designate the area you are planning to work in, and they will filter the list for you.

After you find an optimal job, you are going to have to write a resume. In this app, you can write a resume and save it so you can send it to multiple employers. Another advantage of this app is that you can check if the employer has read your resume or not. Sometimes, it is frustrating if you don’t know if the company has even read yours or not, but with this app, it is easier to decide whether to get another job or wait for the reply. 

I also use this app to get a part-time job. I had a very satisfying experience using this app, especially because it offers me a variety of additional services. On the menu, there are AI-filtered jobs, company reviews, resume management, and so on. Particularly, the job review section is helpful when getting a job since I can see the frank reviews of the specific company. If the review isn’t good enough, I don’t usually apply for that company.

Also, when working as a foreigner, there could be many concerns about safety or payment. In this app, there are licenses attached to the companies that pay their employees honestly, and write proper contracts.
