Trip to Yeongjongdo Island

This weekend, I went on a short visit to an Island with my family. I would like to share a nearby place where you can see a beautiful sunset with a perfect dinner. The island is located in Incheon, and it is called ‘Yeonjongdo’. You guys would be familiar with Incheon since the international airport is there. The way to the island isn’t that far since it takes a little longer than an hour from Hanyang University. If you would like to use public transport, it will take about 2 hours. You can use line 2 and the airport rail road.

Our family’s purpose of the trip was to see the sunset. Since the island is located on the west coast, we can easily see the sun falling. If you are searching for an ocean view nearby, the island would be a perfect choice.

There are a lot of cafes on the coast road, and the one we picked is called ‘Masian Bakery’. We could enjoy a wide variety of bakeries with a fair view of the ocean. Since it is right in front of the beach, you can easily see people walking along on the sand. One thing you need to be informed of is that there is an intertidal mud flat. Usually, the water comes in again at about 5 to 7 pm in the current season. So in the afternoon, it is hard to see an ocean full of water. But still, the mud flat presents a stunning view.
