Amphitheater Café

Hello, this will be the last article for this semester. This semester has been very busy for me, but I have always tried my best to bring the best content to the table. Since the finals are creeping up, it is important to study in your best condition. What helps you stay in your tip-top shape, you might ask? Well, it’s having a full stomach.

Previously, I have told you about the different catering facilities on the campus grounds. This time, I want to introduce you to a particular spot that I love to go to for a quick munch.

The location that I want to introduce you to is the 노천극장 or Amphitheater. You have probably heard about it or been there during this year’s school festival. Next to the Amphitheater is the Amphitheater Café that contain various shops, which offers a range of food from Mexican dishes to café-style items. It is very similar to Hanyang Plaza on the first floor with its food court.

One place, in particular, that I enjoy the most is the “10 Break,” which is the Mexican food shop located at the very end of the Amphitheater. The food ranges from soft tacos to burritos and nachos. One thing, in particular, that I like about this place is the price. Any college student on a budget will find this factor beneficial. If you were to order a soft taco outside the campus, one piece would cost you over 4,000 won, which is crazy by my standards. Here, you will only be set back 3,200 won for a taco. This could be considered pricey for some people, but I think it’s a better option compared to the alternatives.

If Mexican food does not suit your taste, try the other shops with options like pizza or rice bowls. I highly recommend this place as an option for a quick snack instead of a full meal, considering that the cheapest option is going to a catering hall to eat.

Finally, I hope everyone is having a great semester and does wonders on the final exams!
