Three Attractive Places to Visit Near School

Hello, my name is Park Chae Eun! It’s been a month since the new semester began at university. How do you spend your time between classes or during your free time? You can do your tasks, read books, have lunch, and more. These days, it’s sunny outside and the flowers are beginning to bloom. Why not take a walk near school and enjoy the beautiful weather? I would like to recommend some great places to spend your spare time near the school.

1. Seoul Forest

I visited Seoul Forest yesterday and it was so beautiful to see the blooming flowers and the green nature. Many people were taking a walk, having picnics, and walking their dogs. If you go there, you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Seoul Forest is close to school, and there are three ways to get there. You can take bus number 121 at Hanyang University’s main gate station and get off at Ttukseom Seoul Forest South Door Station. Alternatively, you can take bus number 2014 at the main gate station and get off at Ttukdo Arisu Water Purification Center Water Museum. Finally, you can take the subway from Hanyang University station and get off at Ttukseom Station, which is one stop later. From there, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Seoul Forest. All three ways take only 15 minutes. So, why not take a walk and enjoy nature?

2. Ttukseom Han-River Park

This park is great for riding a bicycle along the beautiful bicycle path. You can enjoy the view of the river, especially at night when the night view is mesmerizing. You should also try the famous ramen and bring a mat to sit on the grass. To get there, you can take the 2014 bus at Hanyang University’s main gate and get off at the station in front of Jayang 4-dong Community Center. From there, it’s just a five-minute walk. Alternatively, you can ride a bike for about 30 minutes along the bike path. Both ways take about half an hour. It’s a great place to visit when you have some free time.

3. Seongsu-dong

Seongsu-dong is a trendy place with many restaurants, cafes, exhibitions, pop-up stores, and clothing stores. It’s fun to walk around and explore. Seongsu-dong is also very close to Hanyang University. To get there, you can take the subway at Hanyang University station and go two more stations until you reach Seongsu station. It would be great to go shopping, eat delicious food, and explore the area with your friends.
