I introduced nice places to study in the business school building. And now I will introduce nice place to study on the rest of the campus, open to every student.
1. Chung Mong-Koo Automotive Research Center
It is located in the center of our campus. It was built in 2014, so it has new facilities. In the second floor there is a lounge like business building. As it is open, you can use it without any preparation process. When I went there, there were not that many students. But there were not many seats as well. There was rooms for study, but I think it is for the students in this major.
2. Hanyang Cyber University
It is near at business building. There are many tables on the first floor and second floor there are computers on the second floor. It is good place because it is open to every student and it has many tables. However, because this place is not for studying students, for the students who want quiet place it is not so good. It could be noisy, because there are many students who uses café, Hot dog shop and convenience store in this building. But if you can bear some noise and you want to study with something to eat or drink this place will fit you. Maybe second floor is quieter than first floor.
3. Paiknam Library
It is located in the center of our campus, too. It is on the top of our campus. There are many places to study. On the third floor there is a place to study. You can use your notebook here. On the 2, 4, 5 floor there are some tables to study in the library. The one who want to study in quiet place will like this places. On the first floor there are some seats to study. Paiknam Library runs 24 hours. And there are group study rooms. If you want to borrow these places, reserve on website (library.hanyang.ac.kr). You can reserve with ID that you use in portal.hanyang.ac.kr. And to enter this building, you need student ID card or app that replace ID card.
If you want to borrow books, you can use this building. You can borrow at first floor. But you can borrow from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday.
4. Law building
It is near the business school building and economy and finance building. On the first floor there is library and there are some tables to study. Like Paiknam Library it is so quiet. You need student ID card to enter this place. And on the third and fourth floor there are study halls. If you want freer place, on the fourth floor there is a lounge to rest. There are about 5 or 6 tables. As this place is for rest it could be noisy. But this place runs for 24 hours.
5. Student Union Building
Student union building is near at Hanyang Univ. station gate 2. There is a Book café on the second floor in this building. Maybe you know bookstore on the first floor in this building. There is a room for study or any other team activities.
Maybe there are many place to study in other buildings. Maybe all the buildings has own study hall. Some could be just for the major of the building. And there are many lounges in every building. Find your place to study and get great grades!
