Helloo everyone! I’m sure many of you have already heard about the unfortunate cancellation of this semester’s Hanyang Festival. It’s natural to be dejected upon hearing about the news that the festival won’t be held this Fall. This is especially bad news for exchange students who were eagerly anticipating the one-of-a-kind Korean university festival experience.
But did you guys know that some departments are organizing their own mini-festivals? The business school arranged their own last Thursday, and there was also another festival set up by another department last Friday.

Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take any photos of the Business school festival, however, I remember that there were several booths offering games and a photo booth. On Friday, I didn’t hear any news of there being another festival, but as I headed home after finishing my class, I was curious about the loud concert around the humanities building. So my friends and I rushed over and we were quite surprised.
The festival is a lot bigger than I thought, with Dakgangjeong Chicken and Takoyaki food trucks, as well as various booths. There are numerous people gathered to watch a rapping performance and it was an exciting atmosphere where you can experience a little of the university festival.

Make sure to stay alert and look out for any upcoming mini festivals; you don’t want to miss out on the fun! Goodbye!
