When you travel in Seoul, you can travel anywhere by subway.
However, many domestic destinations besides Seoul include Gangneung, Jeonju, Gyeongju, Pohang, Busan, etc.
What kind of transportation should I use to travel outside of Seoul?
I recommend KTX. It’s because it’s the fastest and most effective.
“KTX get 50% discount”
Since the purpose of this discount event is to revitalize local tourism, discounts can be made only when accommodations or activities are booked together. It is discounted up to 50% on weekdays and 30% on weekends.
The sale period is from May 24th to June 30th, so you have to make a reservation in between.
The period of use is available between June 1 and July 16
“To tomorrow”
Tomorrow is a railroad travel pass that can be used freely anywhere in the country for a given period.
There are two kinds tomorrow.
- 3-day ticket and 7-day ticket
The three-day ticket is free to use three days a week, and the seven-day ticket is free all week. The three-day ticket costs 60,000 won and the seven-day ticket costs 70,000 won. Since the price of ktx is expensive, it will save a lot of money if you learn how to use it.
