South Korean star and Tottenham Hotspurs forward Heung-Min Son topped Sky Sports Rankings in English Premier League (EPL), which is determined based on variety of indicators including scores, assists and shots on target. He has topped the chart for the second time of this season after scoring twice in the spectacular 6-1 win over Manchester United. He is also named to be the BBC’s English Premier League Team of the Week. “Four goals for Son Heung-min at Southampton and another two against Manchester United in a match that was too extraordinary to believe,” the BBC broadcaster said. He suffered a hamstring injury in a home match against Newcastle United in September that many assumed would see him sidelined for a number of weeks. Fortunately, his injury didn’t last long, and he showed up at the match against Manchester United.

Son and Harry Kane, Tottenham’s striker and captain, are showing the best chemistry this season. Son has so far scored 6 goals while the English captain delivered five of the goals. According to football analyst Opta, Kane and Son have produced 26 goals in the league to date, the deadliest attacking duo in Europe. They are undergoing the best start of the season and it seems to continue for a while. Another joyful factor for Tottenham is the joining of Welsh captain and former Real Madrid player, Gareth Bale. Their chemistry is anticipated for not only Tottenham fans but for football fans all over the world. Korean fans name them the ‘KBS’ line (Kane, Bale, Son) showing their anticipation to see them on pitch soon.
