Last week, on the 18th of December, the HUBS International Cooperation Office and myHUBS was invited to the Grand Opening of the Korean salad bar and buffet restaurant, ‘Nature Kitchen’ Hanyang University branch (자연별곡 한양대점). The team was selected to try out the hottest trend in the restaurant industry in Korea these days. Part 1 of the series will cover the general information of the restaurant and the Hanyang University branch, while part 2 will be based on the personal experience, recommendations, and thoughts of the restaurant.

‘Nature Kitchen’, is one of the hottest trends in the restaurant industry, reflecting the consumer needs for a new appetite in food other than Western, Chinese, Southeast Asian, and Japanese cuisine. So, Korean salad bars (which obviously is not consisted just of salad) have become an interest to consumers due to the interest in Korean food amidst the desire for healthy, natural, and diverse menus. ‘Nature Kitchen’ claims to “provide dishes from the eight provinces of the Korean peninsula that braces the stories of King and Queens”.
