Hi guys!

Are there any of you who are interested in going to classical concerts or musicals? For those who like to go to these concerts but don’t know where to look and go, let me introduce to you a good place!

It is the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts located in Jongro, right in front of the Gyeongbok Palace.

Sejong Center for the Performing Arts was constructed in 1978, and it used to be the largest concert hall in Korea before the construction of Seoul Arts Center. After going under a lot of remodeling and addition of new structures such as a gallery, the place offers many more different events at a relatively accessible location from Hanyang University.

However, before you are able to take part in the event, you must become a member of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. You can sign up for free. Also, it is crucial to check the dates for the event. The registration started from the 4th to the 11th this month and the results were announced on the 12th. If you register and time are the lucky one, you may proceed to book the tickets for the desired concert. There are usually one to two different concerts that are offered at the event price, so you can choose the concert you are more interested in. For an example, in October they offered a choice between classical concerts with different selections of music or a Korean Pansori recital. Even if you are unlucky or the events offered does not match your taste, keep an eye out for future events as they offer different concerts every month!
